Shiraz

Yeringberg Shiraz is drawn from the winery's estate vineyard at Coldstream in the Yarra Valley. The cool climate and silty clay soils with scattered buckshot gravel provide an ideal growing environment.

The wine is a blend of 97% Shiraz and, depending on the year, small portions of Viognier, Marsanne or both. After sorting, the fruit is vinified, with typically 10% whole bunches. It matures in new and seasoned French oak.

Deep purple, Yeringberg Shiraz is fresh and vibrant, with savoury dark fruit flavours. Beautifully controlled and perfectly proportioned. A classic cool climate Shiraz. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
